Sick Day

Today was the first day Sydnee missed a day of 1st grade due to illness. The girls passed along a 24 hour bug from youngest to oldest. Sydnee started feeling much better around 2:30 this afternoon. What better way to celebrate feeling better than with an ice cream sandwich? Here is an update on our little garden...Lookin pretty good, eh Justin? Nothing is dieing...yet...and there are lots of green strawberries and a couple tomatoes starting to form.

I am looking forward to school getting out on Fri. It will be nice to have a schedule free summer....oh wait, we have T-ball for Chuck, coach pitch baseball for Syd, and karate for them both...we will be busy! (but we won't have to get up as early, that is nice. :)

You have come a long way from our first plant that didn't even make it out of the car. I remember going out to go to school that next morning, after you had needed that plant so bad, and there it was dead in the back seat. The garden looks great and I can't wait for fresh strawberries.

I Love You

I liked Justin's comment on the first plant you bought. It sounds like me. They gave me a pot of flowers for mothers day and it was dead by the end of the week. I even watered it, what the heck!
