Days like this...
When every word is said with a whiny tone, girls feel the need to tattle about the tiniest things, and the fighting never ends....it makes you wish for the days like this:
Happy cooperation in building something.

Ice Skating
It's been so long since I've found the time to blog. I'm hoping to do better, but I guess life just keeps getting in the way.
We went ice skating with Tafoyas several weeks ago and had a blast. All the kids picked up on it pretty quickly.

Winner!
Justee took home the prize for best costume at Gold's Gym party today. I sure think she makes a cute Uncle Fester. She was pretty happy with her light bulb that really lights up when she puts it in her mouth. :)
Charlee and Sydnee had their parties at school on Fri. Their school does a costume parade, so all the kids get to see each other's costumes.
I guess Cousin Itt got tired after walking the halls.
We had our Trunk-or-Treat and I helped the YW with a haunted house. It turned out really cool, but I forgot my camera and didn't get a single pic. I will have to see if I can find someone who did. We still haven't gotten pics of us all together, but tomorrow we will for sure.I put off taking pics of Sydnee at her soccer games until her last game. Today was a rescheduled game and this is what my procrastination got me.....

Things are getting done
Halloween is soooo close! I am excited, but I have lots of things I want to get done this week. Costumes are almost 100% complete...like 98%. Here is a little peak at Charlee's Cousin Itt costume. This is the first stage of her costume (minus the pink sleeves.) After this I attached a bunch of craft sting and began unraveling it all for less of a dreadlocks look and more of an hair look.
She needed to be able to see, so I attached the "hair" to the top and the bottom of the glasses. This made for an extremely itching problem...after some thought I solved this by adding some extra fleece to soften it up. She was so happy to feel the difference. It is pretty comfy now.
